My Week in Review 1/31/25
It’s been a busier week than last. I’ve worked every day so far. We watched a movie. I finished a TV series. I did not finish a book this week.
Life
I worked two full days and two half days this week. I had a day of US History, two days of English, and a day in Drama. It was a good mix.
Two of my classes started with 20 minutes of independent reading so I took my book and read along with them.
Outside of work, I didn’t do much. We watched football on Sunday, basketball on Saturday and Tuesday, and hockey whenever it was on.
Even though my dog is better she is still much more hands-on than she used to be so that takes up a lot of my time.
Movies
We watched The Six Triple Eight on Netflix. It is the story of the all-Black women’s battalion in World War II who went to Europe to fix the three-year backlog of undelivered mail. It was a very good movie that told a story I had never heard before. I will admit that I was also watching football on my iPad while it was on, so I might have missed some stuff. If you like historical stories you would love this.
