My Week in Review 2/21/25

2 min readFeb 21, 2025

It has been a slower week this week, but it did not lead to more reading. I still only finished one book this week.

Life

We went out to eat for our birthdays on Sunday afternoon. It’s one of the rare occasions when we don’t just get takeout.

School was closed on Monday and Tuesday. I didn’t work on Wednesday. I was only there for one class on Thursday. I don’t know if I will work today. It’s always an adjustment to go from a full work week to hardly any work at all.

I worked my first barn shift in over a month on Monday morning. It was good to be back, but I was on a different shift than before and felt like I didn’t know what I was doing.

It’s been too cold to feel like going out to do anything on my days off.

Television

Happy’s Place has been renewed at NBC.

Miss Scarlet was renewed at PBS.

XO Kitty was renewed at Netflix.

The Pitt was renewed at Max.

CBS renewed Ghosts(for two seasons), Tracker, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Elsbeth, Fire Country, NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Sydney, and Hollywood Squares.

The new 911 spinoff will be set in Nashville and will air next season.

I watched the first two episodes of the new season of Yellowjackets and I’m not sure I care enough to continue.
