It was a pretty standard week for me. I didn’t watch a movie, I finished one book, and I spent a lot of time trying to keep my DVR from getting so full it started deleting shows. That was made more complicated by the start of March Madness.

Life

Monday was my daughter’s birthday. We went out to dinner at The Hideaway to celebrate. They have so much good food it’s always hard to decide what to order. I’m still not sure I made the right decision.

It was so windy Tuesday that they canceled all mounted lessons so my barn shift turned out to be much easier than expected.

I had to leave the house at 6 AM Thursday morning to drive my daughter to the airport, We have an airport 20 minutes or so from our house but she book flights to and from one that requires a drive through the DC area.

I’m the only person in my family who has not traveled in 2023. I feel left out.

TV

We watched the season premiere of Ted Lasso on Wednesday. There was a review in the Washington Post that said the problem with this season is that it is the same show it has been in the past two seasons. I don’t see that as a negative. We don’t need Ted Lasso to be anything but Ted Lasso. That’s why we love it.
