My Week in Review 7/19/24

It was a different sort of week for me this week. I was mostly home. I didn’t watch a movie. I watched a lot of the same TV show with my daughter. I did finish two books.

Here is my week.

Life

My wife left for a conference Saturday so it has just been me and my daughter here this week.

It has been extremely hot here this week. Today is the first day this week with tolerable temperatures. We hit 100 on Monday and Tuesday without the heat index.

My barn shift was canceled on Tuesday due to the heat.

I have stayed mostly home and inside. I did go to Panera for coffee and the library to pick up holds. That was the extent of my time outside of the house.

TV News and Views

Syfy canceled Reginald the Vampire. I’m not happy about this.

The season finale of All American aired this week. There were plenty of options introduced to move to the next chapter now that the main character is leaving the show.

Most of my week was watching Love Island USA with my daughter. She was trying to catch up so she could watch the final episodes live. I would watch with her until I fell asleep on the couch. We did catch up and will watch live starting tonight.

Books

I finished two books this week.
