Observations on the Current State of Affairs In the US

Rather than trying to put together one coherent post on one topic, here is a collection of random thoughts.

  • It sucks that the two-party system has given us a choice of two elderly men. One a con man and liar and the other a man who is showing signs of mental and physical decline
  • Yet some people feel so strongly about their elderly person that they get angry when someone suggests their elderly man isn’t fit for the job
  • Some people cheered the attempt on one elderly man’s life and publicly wished it had been successful. Those people need to seek professional help
  • Some people still claim it was fake even though someone died and we have video and pictures of the would be assassin on the roof. These people also need professional help
  • Both parties talk about unity, yet still show hate and disdain for anyone who disagrees with them
  • People post on social media about unity and in the same post list all the reasons why the other side is bad
  • Some people spend their lives on social media identifying people who do or say things they don’t like and then contacting their employer to try to get them fired. Cancel culture is out of control.
  • I miss the days when people could disagree with…
