Some Brief Thoughts on the Super Bowl Commercials
1 min readFeb 10, 2025
In the past, I have done a more comprehensive look at the commercials. I won’t be doing that this year because
- My lack of interest in the matchup made me less attentive to the game
- My lack of interest made me spend more time looking at other screens
- The blowout also lessened my attention
- The commercials were not as good as in past years
- I got sleepy toward the end and might have missed a few
So, here is a brief look at the commercials that stood out to me.
- The HexClad ad with Gordon Ramsay and Pete Davidson that reveals all famous people are aliens(but Gordon isn’t because he isn’t really famous)
- Stella Artois where Matt Damon is David Beckham’s long-lost American twin brother
- Hellmann’s When Harry Met Sally commercial
- Meta’s ads with Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth
- Uber Eats with Matthew McConaughey
Some of that others listed in the top are ones I don’t recall, so they must have been toward the end of the game when I was less focused/dozing.
Any you think I missed? Any of these that you hated?
